The Easton Arts Trail 2008

Welcome to the second Easton Arts Trail, which will take place in open houses, studios, cafes, pubs, community venues and in the streets and cycle paths across Easton on Saturday 21 June and Sunday 22 June 2008, 11am-6pm.

This year there are more than 35 venues and over 100 artists, makers and performers taking part in this dazzling celebration of Easton’s creativity. To find out who is taking part and where visit Artists & Performers. There is so much to see and do, we hope you can find time to fit it all in!

Please use this online Map and Guide to find out what’s going on and where, and to plan your route. Don’t forget Easton is a vibrant creative community with art and creativity everywhere, you just need to look! Free printed Maps & Guides to the Easton Arts Trail will be delivered to every home in Easton during the last two weeks of May. They will also be available from the Information Point at the Easton Community Centre from 11am on Saturday 21 June 2008.

How to get to Easton:

By bus - get either the No 48 or No 49 from Bristol Town Centre or from Fishponds, both buses run along Stapleton Road, ask the driver to let you off near St Marks Road.

By train - there’s an hourly service from Temple Meads to Stapleton Road, leaving Temple Meads at 8mins after the hour. The train leaves Stapleton Road to return to Temple Meads at 5mins to the hour. Saturday service only, no service on Sunday.

By bicycle - you can also get to Easton via the Bristol to Bath cycle path, park up at the Easton Community Centre for best access to the Easton Arts Trail.

The Bristol to Bath cycle path is currently being considered for a change of use to a BRT - Bus Rapid Transit corridor, to find out more about the public campaign to save this much loved and well used green corridor that cuts through the heart of Easton visit www.railwaypath.org/.
